Heavily influenced by bands such as Drift, One Eyed God Prophecy and His Hero Is Gone. LWR featured past and future members of Sheep Squeeze, Lost Ground, Nexus 6, Three Summers Gone, Funeral Diner and Under a Dying Sun, etc…
Recorded in San Mateo, CA at B Street Music in 1998.
First release on home burned CD-R’s with screen printed manila envelope covers and CD. Included two inserts. Re-released in 2024 with letterpress printed covers and mini booklet.

The ‘first’ certone release on spareorgan after a long hiatus. Between the Nexus 6 compact disc and this release there were many un-official spareorgan handmade releases of my solo project certone, going back to as far as 2001.

Nexus 6 was a short lived, little known hardcore band hailing from Half Moon Bay, CA. The band included Matt Bajda (previously of Portraits of Past & went on to Funeral Diner & Who Calls So Loud), his brother Dan Bajda (went on to start Funeral Diner), Dave Mello (also of Funeral Diner & Who Calls So Loud), Konane Kramer (of Living War Room & Under a Dying Sun) and Josh Trentor.
Studio recording at CCRMA Studio’s at Stanford University and their live set from KZSU Stanford’s Wednesday Night Live session. Both from 1995.

Nerd Rope is R. Beckstrom (Sheep Squeeze, Lost Ground, Living War Room, Funeral Diner and aka certone) and A. Conway. Both grew up in the bay area and ran in similar circles. They met around 2000 and became fast friends making music on & off. In 2020, they decided to start a new project & Nerd Rope was born. Just like a Nerdsrope, their music is crunchy, chewy and can be used to whack people.

A beautiful blend of dark ambient and noise. Imagined as one track, broken into 5 parts due to file size, Necropolitan and The Stature of Space is a piece of work about living in London; extreme routine/work running alongside extreme hate/violence.
